The 'Trainwreck' actress thanks her online fans for all the love, support, and encouragement she received since she opened up on the difficult in vitro fertilization treatment.

AceShowbiz - Amy Schumer took to Instagram on Saturday, January 11, 2020 to update fans on the progress of her IVF treatment.

The "I Feel Pretty" star announced she was undergoing in vitro fertilisation treatment on Friday and, the following day, she went into further details with fans about her journey.

Schumer, who welcomed son Gene in May 2019, posted a photo of herself at the doctor's office, telling her followers that she was going to freeze embryos.

"Thank you ladies and a few gentleman. We are gonna freeze embryos hopefully," she shared. "I learned to eat salty food after and drink Gatorade. Ice the area. Take arnica and put arnica on the bruises. To be patient and kind to myself and that there are sooooo many of us willing to be there for each other."

She added, "Your stories helped me more than you can imagine. I feel incredibly lucky. I’m really hoping this works and staying positive. Much much love!"

In her original post on Friday, the comedian shared a snap of her bruised belly, and revealed she was undergoing the treatment as she and her husband, chef Chris Fischer, were "figuring out what to do to give Gene a sibling."
