Robert Aramayo has been linked to the lead role on this Amazon's small screen adaptation months after the 'Midsommar' actor bowed out due to scheduling conflicts.

AceShowbiz - "Game of Thrones" actor Robert Aramayo will reportedly replace Will Poulter in Amazon's "The Lord of the Rings" TV series adaptation.

Poulter exited the lead role in the project late last year (2019) due to scheduling conflicts, according to Deadline.

The drama, based on author J.R.R. Tolkien's beloved fantasy novels, has already been picked up for two seasons.

Aramayo played young Ned Stark in two seasons of "Game of Thrones". He also starred in mini-series "Harley and the Davidsons" and movies like "Nocturnal Animals" and "Eternal Beauty".
