AceShowbiz - Timothee Chalamet is reportedly in talks to play Bob Dylan in upcoming biopic "Going Electric".

The film chronicles the controversy that swirled around Dylan when the acoustic folk icon embraced rock n' roll and went electric at the Newport Folk Festival in 1965.

Dylan will be a consultant on the movie and executive produce, while "Ford v Ferrari" filmmaker James Mangold will direct the flck. Dylan's longtime manager, Jeff Rosen, is among the producers.

Chalamet is reportedly taking guitar lessons ahead of the project, according to Deadline. He won't be the first actor to portray Dylan on the silver screen - others to have played the Hurricane star in movies include Cate Blanchett, Christian Bale and Richard Gere.
