Following her victory in the big night, it seemed like Patricia is a little bit carried away as she accidentally injures her 'The Act' co-star Joey King at one of the Golden Globes after parties.

AceShowbiz - Patricia Arquette successfully snagged one trophy at the 2020 Golden Globes on Sunday, January 5 where she was announced as the winner of best supporting actress in a miniseries for her performance on "The Act". Following the victory, it seemed like she was a little bit carried away as she accidentally injured co-star Joey King at one of the Golden Globes after parties.

Patricia and Joey were paired when they filmed the popular elevator video while attending the Warner Bros. party with InStyle. Their concept included Patricia wearing a plastic Viking hat. She was seen making a gesture as if she was singing with one of her hands holding the coveted trophy.

Joey, meanwhile, was making it rain fake money on Patricia while wearing a fedora. When the elevator was about to close, she leaned down for a bow but ended up bashing her head on the top of Patricia's statue. She bumped her forehead into the solid thing quite hard as she then shared a picture of her sporting a brutal bruise due to the incident.

In the Monday snap, Joey could be seen having a sizable bruise on her forehead. "Patricia Arquette accidentally hit me in the head with her Golden Globe. That sentence will give me bragging rights for the rest of my life," so Joey wrote in the caption.

She also uploaded the same picture on her Instagram page. "Not everyone can say Patricia Arquette accidentally hit them in the head with her Golden Globe. But I can," she said. "Stoooopppppppp. ICONICC," Vanessa Hudgens commented. Aaron Paul, meanwhile, wrote, "This is incredible. My god. Congrats on last night!" with Kaley Cuoco leaving a series of laughing and crying emojis.

Patricia was among the winners at the 77th annual Golden Globes. Accepting her statuette, she said in her speech, "I'm so grateful to be here and celebrate this, but I know tonight, January 5, 2020 -- we're not going to look back on this night in the history books."

"We will see a country on the brink of war, the United States of America. A president tweeting out a threat of 52 bombs, including cultural sites. Young people risking their lives, traveling across the world. People not knowing if bombs are going to drop on their kids' heads. And the continent of Australia on fire," she added. "So, while I love my kids so much, I beg of us all to give them a better world. For our kids, and their kids, we have to vote in 2020 and we have to beg and plead for everyone we know to vote in 2020."
