The 'Marriage Story' actor and the 'Little Women' actress take home the top prizes along with Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie, Quentin Tarantino, and Taika Waititi.

AceShowbiz - Adam Driver and Saoirse Ronan took home the Best Actor and Best Actress prizes, respectively, at the 2020 Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts International Awards on Friday, January 3, 2020.

The 36-year-old actor scooped the prize for his work in the movie "Marriage Story", while Ronan won Best Actress for "Little Women", at the ceremony held at SkyBar at the Mondrian Los Angeles in California.

Elsewhere in the prizegiving, "Parasite" won the Best Film prize, which was accepted by director Bong Joon-ho and actor Song Kang-ho. "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" 's Quentin Tarantino won the Best Director award and "Jojo Rabbit" 's Taika Waititi took home the Best Screenplay gong.

"Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" 's Brad Pitt and "Bombshell" 's Margot Robbie won Best Supporting Actor and Best Supporting Actress, respectively, though they weren't in attendance.

Margot made history when the nominations were announced as the first double Best Supporting Actress nominee, securing nods for her roles in "Bombshell" and "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" at the 9th annual ceremony.
