A little over two months after bowing out of two planned gigs to work on maintaining his sobriety, the 'X Gon' Give It to Ya' rapper performs for fans at Hakkasan Las Vegas Nightclub.

AceShowbiz - Rap veteran DMX returned to the stage in Las Vegas on Sunday (December 29), just weeks after checking himself into a rehabilitation facility.

The "Party Up (Up in Here)" MC bowed out of two planned gigs back in mid-October to work on maintaining his sobriety, but this weekend, he was back in action as he performed for fans at Hakkasan Las Vegas Nightclub.

According to TMZ, the hip-hop star stuck to water and smoked cigarettes before stepping into the spotlight for a hits-packed set, delivering renditions of tracks like "Ruff Ryders' Anthem", "Where the Hood At?", and "X Gon' Give It to Ya".

Addressing his rollercoaster 2019, which he kicked off with a prison release following a one-year sentence for tax evasion, he told the crowd: "When you fall down, get back up," he said. "Everyone here has been through some s**t and you never know what God is willing to do for you until you need him to do something for you."

DMX, who has battled substance abuse issues for years, is no stranger to rehab, having previously sought professional help in 2017.
