AceShowbiz - Nicole Kidman has treated her fans to a rare photo of her youngest daughter. On Saturday, December 28, the "Aquaman" actress celebrated Faith Margaret's ninth birthday, and sent internet abuzz as she posted a special tribute to her girl on her Instagram account.
The throwback picture put out by the "Bombshell" star captured her younger self holding her then-toddler daughter in a sepia tone. Along with it, she shared a picture of chocolate cake for the birthday girl. "Our baby girl is now 9! We love you so much precious precious girl," she captioned the post. "Happy birthday Faith! xx"
Nicole's post quickly caught the attention of A-list celebrities. In the comment section, her "Big Little Lies" co-star Reese Witherspoon reacted by writing, "Stunning!! Happy Birthday Faith!" Fellow actress Gwyneth Paltrow, in the meantime, wrote, "What a photo." Sharing similar sentiment, Naomi Campbell simply commented, "Gorgeous".
Faith Margaret is Nicole's second daughter with country singer Keith Urban. The power couple also has an 11-year-old daughter, Sunday Rose, together. In addition to the two young daughters, the "Boy Erased" star has two adult children, 27-year-old Isabella and 24-year-old Connor, with ex-husband Tom Cruise.
While notoriously private about her life with her children, Nicole has opened up about how Faith gave her strength to cope with her father's death in 2014. In an interview for the January 2020 edition of Tatler magazine, the 52-year-old recalled, "My three-year-old said, 'But you're not going to be sad like this tomorrow, are you?' "
"That's when you realize, y'know, you have to be OK," the Academy Award-winning actress went on explaining. "Because they need to know that they're safe, that their mother isn't going to fall apart. Inside? I was beyond shattered. But I had to rally."
