Now the former exes are slowly mending their relationship as the "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" actor were previously spotted attending Jen's parties. Naturally, fans start to wonder if they are considering to rekindle their romance.

Those who are hoping for their relationship to blossom into something more have to prepare to be brokenhearted. "No matter what people would like to see, Brad and Jen are just friends," a source tells HollywoodLife.com. "They've built their bond and rekindled their friendship so much more than it was the past few years now that they're both single."

"They trust each other and love the fact that they have someone who has their back, especially in Hollywood where trust and real friends are at a minimum," continues the insider.

Prior to this, another source claimed that "they've always cared about each other, and they think fondly of their time together. For Jen, seeing Brad is like seeing a dear old friend again," adding that "they have a real bond."
