According to an alleged description of the footage debuted at CCXP 2019, a male character is depicted to have been married to another guy and have children in the movie.

AceShowbiz - Marvel's first gay superhero may have been revealed in "The Eternals" footage which was debuted at CCXP 2019 last weekend. Now, a new description of the footage has surfaced online via Box Office Theory, revealing which superhero is gay in the movie.

According to the description, [SPOILER ALERT!] Phastos, who is portrayed by Brian Tyree Henry, is the character who is married to another man and has children. "We see Phastos, with civil costumes, in the company of two childrens (sic) and another guy, holding hands," the description reads.

The rest of the description matches up with what others described in the footage, but it's the first time the details about Phastos are revealed. Previously, it was believed that Ikaris was the gay character, but the CCXP footage debunked this fan theory as it's revealed that Richard Madden's character is in a relationship with Sersi (Gemma Chan).

It has also been reported that the movie sets up a potential love triangle between Ikaris, Sersi and Kit Harington's Black Knight. This particular report, however, was based on drafts of the script that may have changed during production, so the love triangle storyline should be taken with a grain of salt.

"The Eternals" also stars Angelina Jolie as Thena, Salma Hayek as Ajak, Kumail Nanjiani as Kingo, Lauren Ridloff as Makkari and Don Lee a.k.a. Ma Dong Seok as Gilgamesh. Chloe Zhao serves behind the lens, with the script written by Matthew K. Firpo and Ryan Firpo.

Based on Marvel comic created by Jack Kirby in 1976, "The Eternals" is about near-immortal beings the Eternals and their more gargantuan antagonists the Deviants, who were created by the cosmic beings called Celestials. The Celestials experimented on humans creating both races of immortal spinoffs. The movie is slated for a November 6, 2020 release in the United States.
