AceShowbiz - Kevin Hart has gone through an eventful year. The "Jumanji: The Next Level" star has recently been honored with a Hand and Footprint Ceremony at TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, and he turned to Instagram to reflect how 2019 has been such "a hell of a year" for him.
"Words can't explain my emotion right now," spilled the 40-year-old comedian in a post featuring photos from the November 10 event. "I appreciate the Ups & the downs...to be honest I appreciate the downs so f**king much because they help build character. My appreciation for life is the highest that it's ever been."
Admitting that he will forever be "a work in progress," the husband of Eniko Parrish added, "I'm always looking for ways to improve or better myself…the best way to receive anything is to be willing to listen & accept or learn….I am all of the above."
Therefore, the "Night School" actor made sure to thank his family, friends, colleagues and fans. "Without you guys none of this would be possible," he declared. "Thank you all so much. Mom I hope I am making you proud…Dad I love you…40 G's you're the best big brother on the planet…Niko you're my everything…Kids I do it all for you…PCB you are my ride or dies…God you are my EVERYTHING!!!!!"
Kevin also expressed his gratitude to his co-stars, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Will Ferrell and Karen Gillan, who had come to support him at the ceremony. "I loves ya," he raved. "Thank you to all of my studio partners that came out as well. I truly appreciate you all." He ended the post by stating, "Looking forward to an amazing 2020 because I just closed 2019 out with a Big Bang!!!!!"
2019 was indeed a memorable one for Kevin. Back in September, he was involved in a terrifying car crash that almost left him paralyzed. The accident fractured his spine in three places and forced him to undergo major surgery. Months later, he was seen talking to a fan about the incident, assuring his follower that he is "doing good," "feeling great" and "blessed to be alive."
