The "Star Trek" icon and his spouse, Elizabeth, wed in 2001.
According to the terms of a prenuptial agreement, neither party will receive any support from the other, according to TMZ.
Elizabeth is the actor's fourth wife - he was previously married to Nerine Kidd, Marcy Lafferty, and Gloria Rand.
Shatner is being represented by top divorce lawyer Laura Wasser.
