Celebrity hair stylist Larry Sims addresses rumors that the actress was fired from 'America's Got Talent' because the producers were not fond of her hairstyle.

AceShowbiz - Gabrielle Union's stylist has addressed reports she was fired from "America's Got Talent" by NBC bosses because her hair was "too black" for the show's audience.

Union was recently dropped from the line-up of Simon Cowell's talent series after one season, amid reports suggesting she was axed for making multiple complaints to TV bosses about the "toxic" workplace culture.

Since then, numerous stars have come forward to back Union and her alleged stance against NBC, and now the star's hairstylist, who worked with the actress throughout her one-season tenure on the show's judging panel, has addressed the situation.

Amid reports NBC officials told the "Breaking In" star her hair was "too black" for the show, Union's personal hairstylist, Larry Sims, shared a compilation video of several "flawless" styles he created for the star, along with the caption, "Too Black? Nah… She's FLAWLESS!!!"

In turn, Union responded to her good friend with a simple "I (heart emoji) you!!!" in the comment section.

In a statement sent to Variety on Sunday, December 1, a spokesperson for SAG-AFTRA, America's main union representing performers and actors, said they would investigate any alleged mistreatment of Union.

NBC chiefs also issued a statement saying that they are, "working with Ms. Union through her representatives to hear more about her concerns," with the star later reposting a note about what a "solid apology" should include by writer Joelle Monique - indicating show bosses had fallen short with their response to the situation.
