Lil Mo Opens Up About Past Opioids Addiction and Abusive Relationship

The singer-turned-reality star notes that she ended the relationship '9 months ago' and she hasn't looked back since, explaining, 'Im at so much peace i don't want it to be disturbed.'

AceShowbiz - Lil Mo makes use of her social media account to share her story of her past. On December 3, the singer-turned-reality star shocked her fans as she opened up to her Instagram followers about being addicted to opioids as well as about being in such an abusive relationship.

"I never thought I could get off opioids!" read the message in the picture she shared on the photo-sharing site. "BUT I DID!!!!!!! the OPPS is real mad that i can speak about not having to wake up and pop a 30 PLUS, addi, tramadol and/or whatever else was brought into the house by the devil. I was just the MONEY," Mo went on sharing in the caption.

She added, "Not gonna even CAP. Spent sooooo much paying other people bills just to be high and a functioning addict. Glad i let the TOXIC GO!!!! I prayed for this GLOW."

She further revealed that the drug abuse started after she was in an abusive relationship. "[I] was in and out of court because I was being PHYSICALLY abused. The judge finally granted my FULL PFA (protection from abuse) which covers the whole world. NO CAP!!! I had to let this GO," she wrote.

Mo went on admitting that she was "ashamed when i hit the bottom" to the point "i wanted to die so bad." She continued, "But i was HIGH and thinking it was OK cuz i could afford it. Im LIL MO. I'm famous. Famous people do drugs. Until the day i heard the words 'I'll blow your fcukin head off and throw you over this balcony,' " and that was when she decided to "ran for MY LIFE!!"

She noted that it happened 9 months ago and she hadn't looked back since. "Im at so much peace i don't want it to be disturbed," she added.

Now that 2020 is approaching, Mo shared in her lengthy post that next year was "gonna be a BIG year for MY children and I." Additionally, she also shared that she had "many more people to cut off" in order to achieve less-toxic life. Her other resolutions for 2020 also included quiting "more old habits to quit."
