'The Irishman' Wins Best Movie at 2019 National Board of Review

America's top music critics choose Martin Scorsese's Netflix gangster movie as the beat movie of the year and include Quentin Tarantino and Brad Pitt among winners.

AceShowbiz - Martin Scorsese's Netflix gangster epic "The Irishman" has been named Best Movie of the Year by America's top critics.

The National Board of Review officials have also lauded Quentin Tarantino with Best Director honours for "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood", while Renee Zellweger has picked up another Best Actress gong for her turn as Judy Garland in the biopic "Judy.

Other big winners include Adam Sandler, who claimed the Best Actor prize for "Uncut Gems", and Brad Pitt and Kathy Bates, who scored the Best Supporting Actor and Actress awards.
