The former 'Pretty Little Liars' actress has made use of her holiday break to visit young patients in the hospital in New York as well as to talk to dozens more via FaceTime.

AceShowbiz - Ashley Benson celebrated Thanksgiving by giving back, as she spent Thursday and Friday, November 28-29, chatting to sick children.

The "Pretty Little Liars" star visited young patients in the hospital in New York and then got to talk to dozens more via FaceTime through her partnership with SuperCall - which gives people the opportunity to talk directly to their favourite celebrities.

The actress spoke with more than 50 hospitalised kids who have various illnesses, and spent about a minute-and-a-half with each child, covering topics ranging from Thanksgiving to their favourite holiday meals, according to TMZ.

Sharing grabs from the conversations and snaps of Benson visiting patients at the Maimonides Medical Center on the SuperCall official Instagram page, they captioned the post: "We are living for these adorable Thanksgiving conversations!"

"Amazing to see SuperCall being used in such a positive way. So grateful to @ashleybenson for making it happen!"

Each child involved in the chats was also gifted with a brand new iPhone via the star's partnership with the organisation and, while there, the actress also took time to place ornaments on top of the hospital Christmas tree.
