It debuted atop Billboard 200, earning her first U.S. No. 1 album in 17 years after her 2002 album "A New Day Has Come". It also marked her fifth No. 1 album in the country. Meanwhile, in Canada, it became her 15th No. 1 album.
Not only doing well in music charts, but Celine also proved that "Courage" was worth listening to since it received a generally favorable reviews from music critics. Mike Wass from Idolator deemed the album "truly remarkable" over its production, while Nick Smith of MusicOMH noted that "Courage" marked the singing diva's "impressive return," due to its coherent themes.
Celine is currently on the road to promote the album, and she is surely giving it her all during the trek. After all, Celine is known for her stunning live performance, which is also one of the reasons why her Las Vegas residency was a huge success. In 2018, her self-titled residency was named the second most successful residency of all time.
