Following the online chatter, the 'Breakfast Club' co-host attempts to explain on his Instagram post why he brings up the topic of the basketball player's private part in the discussion.

AceShowbiz - Charlamagne Tha God recently had to interview basketball player Serge Ibaka. During the interview, "The Breakfast Club" co-host stirred up controversy by talking about his private area.

The two first talked about Serge cooking "mystery meat" on the show before Charlamagne shifted the conversation to talk about a viral photo of the athlete in which he donned grey sweatpants with a very clear outline of his penis. "Speaking of meat, Sym keeps talking about you and when you had on the grey sweatpants," Charlamagne asked.

Serge appeared to play dumb, prompting the host to keep pressing him for an answer. "Was that all you?" Charlamagne further asked, to which the hooper responded, "Of course it was."

The question was raising so many people's eyebrows as Internet folks appeared to think that Charlamagne was gay for asking another man such question. "Charlamagne really asked Serge if that was 'all him' in the grey sweats.....this n***a gay lmfaooooo," one fan tweeted.

"Yo charlamagne sick for asking Serge Ibaka about his beef print. what type question is that to ask another dude smh," another fan commented. " 'Let's not move on from your meat' so they were ALREADY talking about it and Serge changed the topic and Charlamagne brought it back? Dude is a whole weirdo," one tweet read.

"Charlamagne gotta chill. He outta pocket for the Serge Ibaka video," someone else chimmed in. Comedian Lil Duval also clowned CTG for the clip by the video twice and comparing him to singer Tank after the man's comments about male-on-male oral sex.

Following the online chatter, the host attempted to explain why he brought up the topic of Serge's private part in the discussion. "I take full accountably for this online L but I will not let @lilduval Tank me this morning without context. For the record My niece @_symsymma_ wanted to know about the [eggplant emoji] and she said it was a question women would appreciate and answer to," he wrote on Monday, November 25 on his Instagram account alongside the clip of the interview.

"Only my nut a** would listen to her and ask this foolishness tho," he continued. "Ladies I died on this hill for y'all!!!! I really can't believe me sometime.... anyway thank you to the good brother from the Congo @sergeibaka for having me on #HowHungryAreYou."
