'DWTS' Finale Recap: The Winner of Season 28 Is...

There are two rounds of dancing that night as each couple has to do one repeat performance from earlier this season before later performing fan-favorite freestyle routine.

AceShowbiz - "Dancing with the Stars" aired its season 28 finale on Monday, November 25. The episode featured the Top 4, Hannah Brown & Alan Bersten, Lauren Alaina & Gleb Savchenko, Ally Brooke & Sasha Farber and Kel Mitchell & Witney Carson competing for the last time to snatch the coveted Mirrorball trophy.

There were two rounds of dancing that night. Each couple had to do one repeat performance from earlier this season before later performing fan-favorite freestyle routine. Kicking of the finale were the four couples joining forces for a fun performance to "Last Dance" by Donna Summer.

Following it up were Ally and Sasha who revisited their amazing jive in which Ally started it off by singing Tina Turner's "Proud Mary". "Well we have been going for 11 weeks and there is only going to be one winner. You have done your chances no harm at all with that jive, fantastic," Len Goodman gushed. Carrie Ann Inaba added, "I just want to say there has been a lot of controversies but that is why you are here tonight. Well done!" Ally earned a perfect score of 30/30.

Lauren and Gleb, meanwhile, danced Foxtrot to Dolly Parton's "Jolene" as their repeat performance. Bruno Tonioli said of the routine, "We can tell how much you loved that song. What I love about you is that you bring the character to life, I like your commitment. Your lines have improved and your balance." Len thought that performance "had a mix of flare and care." The judges gave Lauren 27 points.

Kel and Witney opted to perform their Jazz dance to "High School Musical" song "We're All in This Together". Bruno totally loved the routine as he exclaimed, "Uplifting, positive, the way you interpret your body is so beautiful to watch, congrats!" Echoing the sentiment, Len added, "There is no hiding place at the finale. You were right out, leader of the pack. It was terrific." Kel got a perfect score!

As for Hannah and Alan, they hit the ballroom to revisit their Viennese Waltz to Taylor Swift's "Lover". "You are in full bloom, much more confident, radiant. Sometimes happen you went on the wrong foot there was an incident. You got lost in the dance, it was beautiful," Bruno noted. Carrie Ann commented, "I'm not sure what he was looking at it was the best dance of the season, so magical. I love that you did most of the routine right in front of my face, thank you!" Hannah was given a 28.

For the second round, it opened with a Freestyle routine to "Conga" by Gloria Estefan by Ally and Sasha. Len praised it, saying, "It was a high-energy, fast pace, nice salsa. What I loved was the music was recreated in every moment you made. Well done!" Calling the routine a "showstopper," Bruno added, "You unleashed the star power! What is it Vegas, you killed it! Apart from the fact that I loved the tribal. It was fantastic!" The pair got another perfect score that night.

Lauren and Gleb were up next, performing their Freestyle routine to Luke Bryan's "Country Girl". Of the performance, Bruno said, "It's like happy hour at the saloon. Your line dancing was delicious. Get me some line dancing and some cowboys and I am a happy man." Len also loved it, commenting, "I have loved watching you perform that was a great end to the season." Lauren earned 30 points, marking her first 10s of the season.

Hannah and Alan then danced a fun and powerful freestyle to a mash-up of "Girl on Fire" by Alicia Keys and "Hollaback Girl" by Gwen Stefani. "Hannah Brown you are living your best life. That was a victorious freestyle. There was one small stumble but what you did after, whatever!" said Carrie Ann. The judges gave her a perfect score of 30 points.

Concluding the night were Kel and Witney, who danced a freestyle to "Jump" by Kris Kross which Carrie Ann digged so much. "Okay, my inner fly girl is so happy. You represented you brought Chicago house to the ballroom," she said. Meanwhile, Bruno raved, "What a ride and what a night. Loving the Chicago footwork, I have to say the final acceleration, the tempo was exhilarating. You brought the house down." The pair also earned a perfect score.

Now it was time for the winner announcement. Lauren and Gleb were announced as the fourth place finisher. Meanwhile, Ally and Sasha came out in the third place. It went down to Kel & Witney and Hannah & Alan. Kel was named as the runner-up, meaning Hannah was crowned as the winner of season 28! Congratulations!
