Calling the 'Live Your Life' rapper her 'brother,' the 'Bodak Yellow' hitmaker has shown her support for her fellow 'Rhythm + Flow' judge whether he is 'right or wrong.'

AceShowbiz - Cardi B has pledged her unconditional support for T.I. following the controversy regarding his daughter's virginity checks. Speaking with PEOPLE to promote her new Netflix rap competition show "Rhythm + Flow" which also features T.I. and Chance the Rapper, the Bronx femcee defends the 39-year-old father of six amid the hymen debacle.

"Every single time that I see them on social media I be like, 'That's my brother, that's my brother,' " Cardi says of her fellow judges. Seemingly alluding to the internet talk regarding T.I.'s controversial comments about his daughter Deyjah Imani Harris' virginity, the "I Like It" raptress says, "If they wrong or right, that's my brother and that's that."

Cardi also shares her experience working with the two fellow hip-hop stars for the talent show. "First of all, it was such a good time to film with T.I. and Chance the Rapper," she claims. "We had such a good connection and we had like really good conversations and they were just so funny. It was like when you go to school and you sit with your classmates and y'all at the table, they crack jokes and stuff. That's how it felt."

Responding to people's demand for a second season of "Rhythm + Flow" after the first installment received positive feedback, the 27-year-old Grammy-winning artist says she hasn't figured out how to add it into her already packed schedule. "So many people want like a second season and it's crazy because we never spoke about that. So it's like 'Oh my gosh, imagine fitting that again in my schedule. How's that gonna be?' " she says.

T.I. found himself at the center of controversy after he revealed that he took his 18-year-old daughter Deyjah to the gynaecologist every year to check her hymen and make sure she's still a virgin. He received mixed response for the revelation, with feminist icon Gloria Steinem branding his action as violating human rights.

Deyjah herself has remained silence on the matter, but she has unfollowed her father on social media following his comments. T.I. and his wife Tameka Cottle a.k.a. Tiny are set to address the controversy on Jada Pinkett Smith's "Red Table Talk" on Monday, November 25.
