Amanda Seales' Former Friend Slams Her, Says She 'Subscribes' to the Cancel Culture

This happens after the 'Bring the Funny' host received heavy backlash for calling out Rodney Reed's supporters and saying she regretted backing the death row inmate in the past.

AceShowbiz - Amanda Seales has recently sparked heavy criticism ever since she called out those who supported death row inmate Rodney Reed. Among those who spoke against her was her former friend, Dondre Whitfield, and he used this chance to slam the actress and comedienne.

Underneath Shaun King's comments about her controversial video, Dondre admitted he isn't surprised to see Amanda making such statements. After all, "This sister causes great pain in her tirades and rants. She can't be wrong and no one can be right but her. She needless (sic) makes many enemies when doesn't have to put herself in that position. That's unfortunate."

People were surely confused after reading his comment, as they thought that they were still friends and Dondre had even appeared on her podcast series. However, Dondre insisted that the situation had now changed and they are no longer friends. He continued criticizing Amanda, "She subscribed to the cancel culture. If you don't agree with her perspective she does what you see on social media everyday. I make her, or anyone else, have a conversation if they are unwilling too."

In a separate comment, Dondre stressed that the "Bring the Funny" host "doesn't need protection." Instead, the "people that she eviscerates need protection from her." He added, "It's sad that she does what she does. I actually pray for my sister. She's headed for unpleasant experiences and they will be due to her own doing."

Amanda was slammed over her video in which she said she regretted backing Rodney's exoneration in the past and relayed her concern over the unrelated rape allegation that had been levied against Rodney before. She additionally called advocates for the death row inmate as "duplicitous," saying, "Not just his family, but persons who fancy themselves activist were doing so with the knowledge that his person, Rodney Reed, is not just accused of but has been linked to the previous rapes via his DNA being discovered within the victim."

Human rights activist Shaun King was one of the people who blasted Amanda over the video, claiming that there were so many "lies" in the clip.
