AceShowbiz - Rest assured everyone, Lil Reese is doing okay after being shot earlier this week. The Chicago rapper was recently released from hospital for being shot in the neck on Monday, November 11 and he appeared to offer fans an update following the incident.

On Friday, November 15, Reese went on Instagram Live, sporting a black hoodie. He didn't say anything in the clip but the musician made sure his fans know he's okay after reportedly in a critical condition as he was bopping his head to Jon B's 1997 song "They Don't Know".

Reese, whose real name is Tavares Taylor, was shot in the neck on Monday around 2:30 P.M. in Country Club Hills--a suburb south of Chicago. When officers responded to the scene, they reportedly found an empty car with blood on the driver's seat and outside the driver's side door, with the 26-year-old rapper nowhere to be seen. Witnesses claimed that an unknown man had taken him and fled.

Authorities located Reese at a nearby hospital where he was being treated for a gunshot wound to the neck. He was later transferred from Advocate South Suburban Hospital to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.

Hours after the reports, fellow musician Lil Durk took to his Twitter account to ease fans' worry in his recent post. "Reese good," he simply wrote, alongside a blue heart emoji.

Recently, a photo of Lil Reese's alleged shooter has circulated online. The leaked photo, which is reportedly obtained by police through street surveillance footage, featured a man wearing a hoodie who is aiming his gun, a mini Draco, at someone unseen on the street.

It seemed like he stepped out from a silver sedan which made a stop at the intersection of 167th Street and Pulaski Road with the weapon in hand. The grainy image, however, did not capture his target in the photo though there are other cars around him.

As of now, no suspects have been arrested as the investigation is still ongoing.

Reese is a close friend of Chief Keef. He was featured in one of Keef's tracks titled "Traffic".
