The former Scary Spice is reportedly scheduled to join TV show 'Celebs Go Dating' along with other celebrities such as Malique Thompson-Dwyer and Amy Hart.

AceShowbiz - Melanie Brown is reportedly set to appear on the upcoming series of British TV show "Celebs Go Dating".

The Spice Girls singer filed for divorce from ex Stephen Belafonte in March 2017, but is looking for love and has apparently called on the popular dating show to help her with her search.

A source told Britain's The Sun newspaper, "It would be a real coup for the show to land Scary Spice and she would be a huge ratings draw, especially because she has a larger-than-life personality and is open to dating both men and women."

"Mel is up for trying new things at the moment, especially since her profile has been raised again after the Spice Girls' summer tour."

The "Wannabe" hitmaker was married to Stephen for 10 years, and has since claimed her ex abused her during their marriage - which he has strenuously denied - and alleged he came between her and her family.

However the star, who reportedly enjoyed a fling with "The X Factor" U.K. winner James Arthur, recently told dating app Badoo's The Truth Flirts podcast that while she's "scared" of dating, her past meet-ups had not been "disastrous."

Mel's love life dominated headlines over the summer, after she claimed she and Geri Halliwell were involved in a lesbian tryst during the girlband's '90s heyday.

Soap opera actor Malique Thompson-Dwyer and "Love Island" star Amy Hart are also reportedly set to appear alongside the "2 Become 1" singer on the show.
