While the four-piece South Korean girl group nabs three awards during the award show that takes place in Santa Monica, California, the Canadian star takes home two trophies.

AceShowbiz - Winners of the 2019 People's Choice Awards have been announced during a live ceremony at Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California on Sunday, November 10. In music category, Shawn Mendes and BLACKPINK bagged home multiple awards.
The South Korean girl group came out as the biggest winner at that night with a total of three trophies, including Group of 2019 as well as Concert Tour of 2019. In doing so, BLACKPINK bested fellow Korean group BTS (Bangtan Boys). The four-piece group additionally nabbed Music Video of 2019 for their "Kill This Love" visuals.
Meanwhile, bagging two awards during the ceremony, Shawn was once again named the male artist of the year. His hit collaboration with girlfriend Camila Cabello, "Senorita", also earned him Song of 2019 trophy, defeating other strong contenders such as Lil Nas X's record-breaking "Old Town Road", Jonas Brothers' "Sucker" and Ariana Grande's "7 Rings".
Similar to Shawn, Blake Shelton was once again honored with country artist of the year trophy. During his acceptance speech, he gave a hilarious shout-out to his girlfriend and People's Fashion Icon honoree Gwen Stefani. "Thanks to Pink because now I know we can cuss on this show and I want to say Gwen Stefani, I love the s**t out of you. Thank you," he said.
Other winners in the music category included Taylor Swift, who won Album of 2019 for her chart-topping album "Lover", Billie Eilish and Becky G.
Besides handing out trophies to winners in music, movies and television categories, People's Choice Awards also honored peers that contributed to the pop culture. Among those who were honored in the category were Harry Styles, who was named the Style Star of 2019, and Ellen DeGeneres, who took home the Social Celebrity of 2019. Kevin Hart also took the stage to accept his Comedy Act of 2019 Award, marking his first official appearance since his car crash earlier this year.
