Calling his 'Jumanji: The Next Level' co-star 'a really great friend,' the Jonas Brothers member says in an interview, 'I'm so thankful that he's still here because he's one of the best.'

AceShowbiz - Nick Jonas is "relieved" his friend Kevin Hart is recovering following his serious car crash earlier this year.

The 40-year-old actor narrowly escaped death when the driver of his 1970 Plymouth Barracuda lost control and crashed in Calabasas, California on 1 September. Hart, who was a passenger in the car at the time, fractured his spine in three places and underwent major surgery.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight on Thursday, November 07, the Jonas Brothers star called his "Jumanji: The Next Level" co-star a "great guy", and confessed he's thankful his pal is recovering well.

"I'm so relieved to hear that he's doing OK," Nick shared. "Life is so fragile and these moments are ones to really take into account the people you love and how blessed we all are to be alive."

He added: "I'm so thankful that he's still here because he's one of the best and, you know, on top of being a castmate of mine in Jumanji, (he's) a really great friend and great guy. So Kevin, I'm glad you're alright."

Kevin recently returned to social media to update fans on his progress, as he confessed his "appreciation for life is through the roof" following the terrifying incident.
