The 'Hobbs and Shaw' actress admits she's flattered by the comparison to Keanu's 46-year-old girlfriend Alexandra Grant, praising the artist, 'She's obviously lovely.'

AceShowbiz - Helen Mirren has finally responded after her name was brought into the conversation when Keanu Reeves and his girlfriend Alexandra Grant made their red carpet debut as a couple at the LACMA Art + Film Gala on Saturday, November 2. With her natural silver hair, the 46-year-old artist was mistaken for the movie vet.
Met at the premiere of her new movie "The Good Liar" in New York City on Wednesday, November 6, the 74-year-old actress addressed the mix-up. Not the slightest offended by the comparison, the Academy Award-winning actress told ET, "I saw that. That was very flattering on me, you know, because she's obviously lovely."
Helen went on singing praise for Keanu. "I do know Keanu very well. He did a film with my husband and he is just the most adorable, lovely person," she said, referring to the 1997 horror thriller "The Devil's Advocate" which he starred in. "So she's a lucky girl and I'm sure that he's a lucky boy."
Keanu and Alexandra were all smiles and holding hands while posing together on the red carpet of the Saturday event which was held in Los Angeles. They stayed close to each other while walking past photographers and heading into the museum.
It marked the first time in decades the 55-year-old actor went public with his girlfriend. The two, however, have been friends for years and worked together his 2011 book "Ode to Happiness" as well as his 2016 book "Shadows".
A source told PEOPLE that the pair "started dating earlier this year, but have wanted to keep it quiet." Of his decision to finally make their relationship public, the so-called insider said, "Keanu wants to openly share his life with her. He is extremely happy and grateful to have Alex in his life."
