After taken into police custody for the fourth time, The 'Grace and Frankie' actress has found a way to avoid getting arrested in her next Fire Drill protest.

AceShowbiz - Jane Fonda will have to be on her best behaviour during her weekly climate change protests to avoid a potential 90-day stay behind bars.

The "Barbarella" star has been taking to the streets of Washington, D.C. as part of her Fire Drill Fridays campaign since early October to pressure lawmakers into doing more to save the environment.

She has been arrested at each demonstration to date, and while she was simply fined for participating in an illegal environmental demonstration during the first two protests, her third run-in with the law landed her a civil disobedience charge and a late November court date.

Despite the legal issue, Fonda got herself arrested for the fourth time last week, even though she knew it would mean having to spend the night in jail as a result of her ongoing civil disobedience case.

Now the actress and activist admits she will be treading on thin ice at each future rally, because if she breaks the law one too many times, she could land herself in custody for a three-month stretch - which will interfere with her upcoming production schedule for hit Netflix series "Grace and Frankie".

"I have to be careful not to get to a point where they're going to keep me for 90 days because I have to begin preparing for Grace and Frankie in January," she explained to The Hollywood Reporter.

"So I'm not going to get arrested every time. They (police) give you three warnings (before making an arrest) and so I will step away at the third warning."

Fonda has been calling on her celebrity pals to join her in her fight for climate change action, with Ted Danson, Catherine Keener, Rosanna Arquette, and her "Grace and Frankie" co-star Sam Waterston getting themselves arrested for demonstrating, too.

This Friday, November 8, the 81 year old will be protesting alongside her TV daughters, Brooklyn Decker and June Diane Raphael, as well as show creators Marta Kauffman and Howard J. Morris, to draw attention to the issue of environmental justice, while Lily Tomlin, Diane Lane, Taylor Schilling, and Kyra Sedgwick are among the other big names expected to take part in the weekly marches to throw their support behind Fonda's cause.
