'Masked Singer' Recap: Fans Go Wild With Assumptions That Butterfly Is Michelle Williams

In the Wednesday, November 6 episode of the hit Fox singing competition, one celebrity would be unmasked and sent home in the first hour, while another one would follow at the end of the second hour.

AceShowbiz - "The Masked Singer" has finally returned after taking a brief hiatus. In the Wednesday, November 6 episode, two celebrities were unmasked and sent home. The first celebrity was revealed at the end of the first hour, while the second star at the end of the second hour.

First hitting the stage was the Rottweiler. He, who wanted to prove that he was "capable of succeeding on my own," performed "Love Runs Out" by OneRepublic. Judge Robin Thicke thought he could be Brian Littrell from Backstreet Boys, while Jenny McCarthy guessed Kevin Jonas. As for Ken Jeong, he went with Train's Pat Monahan.

Ladybug followed it up with a performance of Lizzo's "Juice". After her performance, Jenny thought she could be Paris Jackson. Ken, meanwhile, was still convinced that Lindsay Lohan was the one behind the costume, though Ladybug denied it. Nicole Scherzinger guessed Ashlee Simpson.

Singing "Think" by Aretha Franklin was the Tree. One of her hints was that she's always been her parents' "favorite elf." Following her performance, Tree made Nicole think she could be Amy Sedaris. Robin thought she was Rachael Ray with Jenny guessing Padma Lakshmi.

Next up was the Penguin, who admitted that she was relegated to the D-list. She performed Meghan Trainor's "All About That Bass" that night. The judges guessed that the Penguin could be Nicole Byer, Sherri Shepherd, Wanda Sykes and Mindy Kaling.

The Flower the hit the stage, singing "Cheap Thrills" by Sia Furler. The guesses for the Flower, who hinted that she had that "X factor," included Shirley Bassey, Anita Baker and Bjork. Meanwhile, the judges thought that the Fox, who performed "Hey Look Ma, I Made It" by Panic at the Disco, was either AJ McLean from Backstreet Boys, Ne-Yo or Jamie Foxx.

At the end of the first hour, The Penguin was revealed to be first celebrity to get unmasked. The Penguin was Sherri Shepherd!

Opening the second half of "The Masked Singer" was Black Widow, who sang Cher's "Believe". The guesses for Black Widow included Raven-Symone and Drew Barrymore. The Thingamajig was up next. He hit the stage to belt out The Temptations' "Ain't Too Proud to Beg". Among the celebrities that their names were brought up as the guesses were Tony Parker and Dennis Rodman.

Meanwhile, the Butterfly awed everyone with her performance of "Don't Know Why" by Norah Jones. While Ken thought that Butterfly could actually be Norah herself, Jenny and Nicole believed that Butterfly was Michelle Williams (II).

Fans were also convinced that she was the Destiny's Child member. "The Butterfly on @MaskedSingerFOX hands down is Michelle Williams from Destiny's Child!!! One of my absolute favorite songs growing up was 'Heard a Word' by her. I played that on repeat!! Go listen to it! It's her! Love you @RealMichelleW !!! You're amazing! #TheMaskedSinger," one fan wrote on Twitter, while another one added, "Michelle Williams thought we wasn't going to know her voice #TheMaskedSinger."

The next performer was the Leopard. He sang Katy Perry's "Teenage Dream" and the panelists thought he was either Billy Porter or Bobby Brown. As for the Flamingo, she offered a stunning rendition of "Never Enough" from "The Greatest Showman". The guesses included Fantasia Barrino, Adrienne Bailon and Pink.

The next celebrity contestant to get unmasked was Black Widow. The final guesses for her included Raven-Symone, Drew Barrymore, Amber Riley and Miranda Lambert and the panelists got it right because the Black Widow was Raven-Symone!
