The bedazzled socks that the late King of Pop wore when he did his first-ever signature dance moves are expected to fetch $2 million when it goes under the hammer.

AceShowbiz - The socks Michael Jackson wore while performing his first-ever Moonwalk are expected to fetch between $1 million and $2 million at auction.

The late singer donned the crystal-encrusted stockings to perform "Billie Jean" during his 1983 TV special "Motown 25: Yesterday, Today, Forever". And now lucky fans of the "Thriller" star have a chance to get their hands on a piece of history, as the socks go up for auction as part of Gottahaverockandroll.com's Frank DiLeo collection auction.

The lot comes alongside a letter the singer to DiLeo, who signed Jackson to Epic Records and acted as his manager from 1984 to 1989, which reads: "These socks are presented to you for keeping on your 'toes' throughout the Victory Tour..."

It will also contain a letter from DiLeo's wife confirming that Jackson wore the socks for his debut moonwalk, as well as a certificate of authenticity.
