The 'Sons of Anarchy' alum has filed for divorce from Opal Stone as he continues to be in a relationship with his 'Start Up' co-star Allison Dunbar, whom he was spotted kissing back in May.

AceShowbiz - Ron Perlman is divorcing his wife Opal Stone after almost four decades of marriage. The "Hellboy" star filed papers for a dissolution of his marriage at the Stanley Most Courthouse in Los Angeles on Tuesday, November 5.

According to various reports, the 69-year-old actor cites irreconcilable differences as the cause of split and lists May 10, 2019 as a separation date. Neither Ron nor his wife Opal has released an official statement regarding their separation.

Ron and Opal tied the knot on February 14, 1981. They have two children, daughter Blake Amanda Perlman (born 1984) and son Brandon Avery Perlman (born 1990). His son produces electronic music under the stage name Delroy Edwards.

The divorce filing comes months after Ron was caught locking lips with his "Start Up" co-star Allison Dunbar. The "Sons of Anarchy" alum and the blonde beauty were pictured kissing when leaving upscale restaurant Alexander's Steakhouse in Pasadena, California back in May.

The pair are apparently still together, as on Sunday, November 2, the two were spotted having lunch in Los Angeles. A source told In Touch of Ron and Allison's outing that afternoon, "They definitely seem like an item." According to the onlooker, at one point Ron had his hand on the actress' lap. "[They were] very touchy-feely," so the source claimed.

The source went on noting that Ron wasn't "wearing a wedding ring" and his wife wasn't seen with him. Another source suggested that the "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" star and his wife Opal had "what seems like an open relationship."

"Everyone thought Ron and his wife lived very separate lives," the so-called insider dished on the estranged couple's marriage before the divorce filing. Of Ron's relationship with Allison, the source weighed in, "I will say this: The blonde actress he's with now isn't his usual type. He'd flirt on the set with extras like he was a single man. His wife's name never came up."
