The former wife of Eddie Murphy receives condolences from her fans and friends alike on social media as she is mourning the loss of her beloved mother Ellen.

AceShowbiz - Nicole Murphy is in mourning after her mother Ellen died on Monday, November 4.
The 51-year-old model and ex-wife of actor Eddie Murphy took to Instagram to share a picture of her mum and dad, writing: "Today I lost the most beautiful person in the world to me my mom. I love you so much. Thank you for all the beautiful times we had together. Now you can Rest In Peace with Dad. #purelove #mom #dad#youwillbemissed."
Nicole's friends were quick to share their condolences after her post, with women's basketball player Lisa Leslie, sportscaster Mike Hill, and DJ Irie among those offering her support.
Following the first post, Nicole returned to the social media site later to share a slideshow of pictures of herself with her mum, writing: "Words can't express how much I miss my best friend. I love you mommy."
Nicole's father Eddie T. Mitchell died in October 2012.
