The Cedric Diggory in 'Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire' has been training hard with Brazilian instructor Rigan Machado, who also trained Keanu Reeves for the 'John Wick' films.

AceShowbiz - More pictures of Robert Pattinson training for his role in "The Batman" have surfaced online. The 33-year-old actor has been learning jiu-jitsu with instructor Rigan Machado, an 8th degree red and black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu.

On Sunday, November 3, Machado shared on his Instagram pages pictures of him and the British star at his gym The Academy Beverly Hills. "Jiujitsu brother," he captioned it. In the images, Machado appeared to show and practice various moves with the actor.

Machado previously trained Keanu Reeves for his preparation for the "John Wick" films. He has also helped get Vin Diesel, Charlie Hunnam and Ashton Kutcher into fighting shape for action film roles.

Pattinson, who is cast as the title character a.k.a. Bruce Wayne, recently said that his version of the superhero would be influenced by his "The Lighthouse" co-star Willem Dafoe. "Willem's voice in this was quite inspiring for it, to be honest," he told Access Hollywood while promoting their new film. "It is pretty similar, the voice I'm gonna do, to Willem's." He added, "I think Batman has a sort of pirate-y kind of voice - I think that will really suit it."

Zoe Kravitz joins him in the cast as Catwoman, and Paul Dano is tapped to play Batman's villain The Riddler. Meanwhile, Matthew McConaughey has been rumored to play another villain, Harvey Dent, in the Matt Reeves-directed movie.

"The Batman" will focus on a younger Bruce Wayne than he was in previous movies. Reeves has shared his vision for the new Batman movie, "It's more Batman in his detective mode than we've seen in the films." He added, "I'd love this to be one where when we go on that journey of tracking down the criminals and trying to solve a crime, it's going to allow his character to have an arc so that he can go through a transformation."

Filming is expected to begin in London this fall for June 25, 2021 release in the U.S.
