AceShowbiz - A year has passed since Sutton Tennyson was shot to death in Atlanta, Georgia, but Angela Simmons still remembered it like it was only yesterday. Marking the first anniversary of her ex-fiance's passing, the shoe designer and reality TV star took to Instagram on Sunday, November 3 to pay tribute to Sutton with a heartbreaking message.
Alongside a series of photos of her baby daddy, Angela admitted to waking up "earlier than usual" as she "realized God wanted to talk to me. And today marks a year since you left us." She added of their son, Sutton Joseph, "I want to let you know your baby boy is flourishing, he's growing. He's everything you knew he'd be and even more. I look at him everyday...and I see you so much. You'd be so proud of him. They way I'm proud of him."
The "Growing Up Hip Hop: Atlanta" star continued, "He talks to me about you before bed. He's adorable Sutton. There's so much I want to tell you. But I know you are with us everyday. I can never repay you or thank you enough for the light you have brought to my life. He's so precious. And we miss you. So much more to say. But thank you for everything. Gone but never forgotten."
Sutton was found dead in his garage in November 2018 with multiple gunshot wounds. Police were called to the neighborhood after receiving calls reporting "shots fired." Four days after the incident took place, Michael Williams, who is the suspect in the murder, turned himself into the Atlanta Police Department. The 44-year-old man was charged with murder, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and possession of a firearm during commission of a felony. He was denied bond during a preliminary court hearing in that month.
