Music

Known for her breathy singing, the Disney alum is certainly doing well in touching people's hearts with her music to the point where they are willing to buy her recordings.

AceShowbiz - Selena Gomez is a living proof that being a good singer doesn't always mean you're required to have a strong, powerful vocals. Known for her breathy singing that makes anyone get into the song and feel the mood, the Disney alum is certainly doing well in touching people's hearts through her music to the point where they are willing to buy her recordings and tickets to hear her perform.

The latest example of that is her recent single, "Lose You to Love Me", which immediately became a trending topic on social media right after its release. Described as a "highly catchy and searing ballad that deserves to be added to everyone's Empowering Breakup Songs playlist," the song debuted at No. 15 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart, which was considered an impressive landing for the pop star since it had less than two full days of streams and downloads to work with in its debut frame.

In addition to that, the ballad soared in at No. 1 on Digital Song Sales and at No. 20 on Streaming Songs with 15.3 million streams. This marked her second-best Hot 100 debut, after "Good for You" opened at No. 9 in 2015.

Besides "Lose You to Love Me", Selena also released another single entitled "Look at Her Now" that also was doing quite well in music charts. Even though the release of the song was a surprise to everyone and only had one day of tracking, the song still managed to debut at No. 3 on Billboard's Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles, and that was already amazing enough for the singer.

Both songs are going to be included on Selena's upcoming third album which still doesn't have a title nor a release date. However, the actress has stated that she has finished working on the highly-anticipated effort, which means that fans can expect her musical output to ramp up in the coming months.
