AceShowbiz - Jungkook, one of BTS (Bangtan Boys) members, appears to be involved in a legal issue. The South Korean heartthrob reportedly was booked and being investigated by police regarding a recent car accident.
Police reported on Monday, November 4, the Seoul Yongsan Police Station booked the singer. The 22-year-old was being investigated on the charge of violating the Road Traffic Act after his Mercedes-Benz hit a taxi on Saturday.
According to reports, the "Love Yourself" hitmaker drove his car in the neighborhood of Hannam in Yongsan District before he violated a traffic regulation and ran into a taxi. Both Jungkook and the taxi driver received treatment at the hospital for minor injuries including bruises.
Following the accident, BTS' agency Big Hit has released a statement. "Right after the accident, Jungkook admitted to violating traffic rules and was investigated under proper procedures. We apologize again to the taxi driver," read the statement. "We also apologize to fans for causing concerns."
