AceShowbiz - Rock veteran Axl Rose has shaken off a nasty tumble he suffered onstage in Las Vegas on Friday, November 1.

The Guns N' Roses frontman was belting out the band's classic cover of Bob Dylan's "Knockin' On Heaven's Door" at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace when he began walking backwards and slipped up mid-song.

However, in video footage of the incident, obtained by TMZ, Axl appeared to be uninjured as he jumped straight back to his feet to continue with the track, before running off to the side of the stage to fetch a towel and wipe down the area.

The singer has since taken to Twitter to thank fans for their concern, admitting he was saved by his choice of footwear.
