AceShowbiz - The 2019 MTV Europe Music Awards in Seville, Spain was surely an eventful night. Besides honoring peers in the music industry for their hard work, the event taking place at the FIBES Conferences and Exhibition Center on Sunday, November 3 also offered artists a chance to promote their music through stunning performances. Dua Lipa and NCT 127 were among those lucky singers.

The British beauty took the stage at the event to debut live performance of her latest single "Don't Start Now", the first offering from her upcoming sophomore album. Tapped as the opening performer that night, Dua captured the hearts of both audience and viewers at home by bringing the disco-tinged banger to life with full-on choreography and energy in abundance. What's more, the Grammy winner put on a risque display in a black cut-out leotard that showcased her washboard abs.

On the other hand, NCT 127 made history during the Becky G-hosted show by becoming the first K-Pop artist to perform at the EMAs, and they certainly didn't disappoint. Rocking colorful jackets and sleek black pants, the group showed off their impressive choreography and harmonies during their rendition of "Highway to Heaven", generating some of the loudest screams from the audience.

Other notable performances during the annual event came from Niall Horan and Halsey. The One Direction member truly knew how to entertain people with his dynamic performance of "Nice to Meet Ya", showcasing his killer vocals and admirable guitar skills. He even ended the performance with a kissy face for the camera, melting everyone's hearts. Meanwhile, Halsey once again offered a stirring live performance, delivering a rendition of "Graveyard."

This year, Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish and BTS (Bangtan Boys) were named the double winners at the ceremony. Taylor won Best U.S. Act and Best Video for "ME!", while Billie took home Best New Artist and Best Song for "Bad Guy". BTS, meanwhile, picked up Best Live Act and Biggest Fans.
