The former 'Suits' star will join Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Jesse Williams in the Scott Ellis-directed production that revolves around a professional baseball player who reveals he's gay.

AceShowbiz - Former "Suits" star Patrick J. Adams is heading to the Broadway stage in a revival of the play "Take Me Out".

The actor, who played Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex's onscreen love interest on the legal drama series, will join "Modern Family" star Jesse Tyler Ferguson and "Grey's Anatomy" actor Jesse Williams in the production, which centres on a professional baseball player who reveals he's gay.

Adams has been cast as Kippy Sunderstrom, the best friend of lead character Darren Lemming, played by Williams.

The show will be directed by Scott Ellis and begin previews at Second Stage's Hayes Theater in April (20).

"Take Me Out", written by Richard Greenberg, was first staged on Broadway in 2003 and picked up a trio of Tony Awards that season, including the coveted Best Play prize.
