Confessing that she smoked a lot of weed when she was 19, the 'So What' hitmaker recalls the time she filmed a promo video for her debut single 'There You Go' with director Dave Meyers.

AceShowbiz - Pop star Pink struggled to get through the video shoot for her debut single "There You Go" because she was so stoned.

The singer burst onto the music scene back in 2000 with the hit tune, which was accompanied by a promo shot by Grammy-winning director Dave Meyers.

However, Pink reveals she was far from professional on set, because she had been getting high backstage.

"I was... 19 when I shot this video," she recalled in a trip down memory lane with Billboard.com. "I smoked a lot of weed, too, and Dave Meyers kept coming up to me and saying, 'Can you wait to smoke that next blunt before the beauty shot?'."

"I was like (with closed eyes), 'What do you mean?' He was like, 'I really want you to be able to open your eyes. I was like (with her eyes still closed), 'My eyes are open'."

Pink's penchant for marijuana wasn't the only problem she faced on the job - she also had trouble pulling off a series of motorcycle scenes, because at the time, she was a novice biker.

"I'd just started riding motorcycles and almost crashed 85 times," the now-40-year-old confessed.
