The 'Hotel Diablo' star has sparked heated debate among his online followers after telling Billboard to remove the Brendon Urie-fronted band from the rock rankings.

AceShowbiz - Machine Gun Kelly believed that Panic At the Disco shouldn't be on the rock charts. The actor/rapper urged Billboard to remove the Brendon Urie-fronted band from the rankings and placed them on the pop charts instead.

"Move Panic to the pop charts," so MGK wrote on his Twitter in response to Billboard's top 5 Hot Rock Songs which has PATD's single "High Hopes" at the top spot for 41 weeks.

The band's "Hey Look Ma, I Made It" sits at the second place, followed by Twenty One Pilots' "The Hype". Meanwhile, MGK's song "I Think I'm OKAY" with Yungblud and Travis Barker occupies the fourth place and Cage the Elephant's "Social Cues" grabs the fifth place.

MGK's comment drew mixed reactions from his followers. Some agreed with him while some others dissed him for being salty.

"I love Panic but facts, their new album was pop...," commented one who was in favor of the "Roadies" star. Another penned, "Agree cause 'I Think I'm Ok' should be #1." A similar comment read, "He's not wrong u guys."

Meanwhile, some who didn't agree commented, "You wish you could be at number 1 for a year," "You petty," "someone's jealous," and "his song isn't rock either. He just wants panic! to be gone to get the #1 spot. None of those songs on the chart are rock lmaoo."

In response, MGK posted a short clip of him sighing and saying, "C'mon guys, you're mad," before he laughed. In the caption, he wrote, "When I tweet something people don't like."

Machine Gun Kelly was not the only musician was not impressed with today's music rankings. Tank recently ranted on Twitter when Kanye West's Gospel album "Jesus Is King" was placed on the hip hop charts.

"I think it's disrespectful to Kanye to put his 'Gospel' album on the hip hop charts," he wrote. "This man is clearly about the business of a higher calling. Why can't his gospel album be a GOSPEL ALBUM? It's not a hip hop album! I'm just confused so I'm asking.."
