AceShowbiz - Tyga is more than ready to party the night away at his Halloween bash. Ahead of the party, the rapper took to Instagram on Tuesday, October 29 to give fans a look at his costume, and it surely made a lot of people have a hard time recognizing him.
In the post, Tyga shared a mirror selfie of himself opting for a Day of the Dead makeup as he paired the look with a black top hat and a matching coat. Giving more eerie vibes, the "Hookah" rapper painted his hands completely black and wore messy gray braids. "MAMACITA WHERE U AT?" Tyga wrote along with the photo, referencing to the name of his bash, "Mamacita of the Dead".
Given the fact that his face was completely covered with face paint, it was only natural for people to find it hard to recognize the rapper. Some even mistook him for Lil Wayne, while one admitted, "Bye this just scared tf out of me." There were also people who speculated that Tyga was dressing up as Lance Reddick's Papa Legba from "American Horror Story: Coven".
Still, a lot of people were amazed by how much effort he put into his Halloween costume this year, with some saying that he "killed" the annual celebration. "Best costume yet!" one gushed, as another commented, "Alright Tyga, you running for 2nd place right after Nicki... You killed it tho." For a reminder, Nicki Minaj and husband Kenneth Petty dressed up as Harley Quinn and the Joker.
Tyga's "Mamacita of the Dead" party will take place at Yamashiro restaurant in Hollywood, Los Angeles on October 29 and 30. This marks the first-ever Halloween event hosted and produced by the spitter, who will also celebrate the imminent arrival of music with his new Columbia Records partnership during the bash.
