Two months after Rick Genest was found dead from a fall from his Montreal, Canada apartment at the age of 32, a Quebec coroner concludes that his death was 'accidental.'

AceShowbiz - A coroner ruled the death of Zombie Boy model Rick Genest an accident on Monday, October 28.

The heavily-tattooed model was found dead after a fall from his apartment in Montreal, Canada in August 2018, aged 32.

Despite speculation that he'd taken his own life, fuelled by a tweet from his friend Lady GaGa suggesting that it was "suicide" - which she later apologised for and retracted - Quebec coroner Melissa Gagnon wrote in her report that "it was an accidental death" and that there was no "clear and unequivocal intention to end his life."

Genest was also found to have a high blood alcohol level and marijuana in his system at the time of the fall from the third floor balcony.

"Some close friends reported that he heard voices, particularly when he used substances," the report continued. "However, Mr. Genest did not seem to be in a state of psychosis or delirium when he went out on the balcony."

Genest was discovered by stylist Nicola Formichetti and featured in a Thierry Mugler campaign that caught the eye of Lady GaGa, who later cast him in the video for her empowering tune "Born This Way".
