This arrives after the 'Justice League' star was captured drunk and stumbling his way to an awaiting car after attending UNICEF Masquerade ball, hours after celebrating his sobriety.

AceShowbiz - Ben Affleck was spotted arriving at ex-wife Jennifer Garner's house one day after he was seen drunk at an Halloween event on Saturday night, October 26. The former Batman depicter allegedly owned his mistake over his relapse despite celebrating his sobriety just hours prior to that.

"You could tell that it wasn't an easy thing for him, but Ben owned his mistake," a source reveals to PEOPLE. "He said it happens, that he slipped up but that it won't happen again. It was a smart move because now the story is basically over."

The source goes on saying that the father of three "looked tired."

When visiting Jennifer's house in Pasadena, California on Sunday, Ben opted to look casual. He wore a grey sweatshirt and denim pants. He was pictured with a cup of cold beverage in one of his hands.

This arrives after Ben was captured drunk in a video obtained by TMZ. In the clip, the "Justice League" star was seen leaving UNICEF Masquerade ball while rocking a suit and a white skull mask. He almost fell flat on his butt when walking a short distance to his awaiting car.

The actor/director was embracing a pretty petite female companion while leaning on a parked car as he was waiting for his chauffeured ride outside La Peer Hotel. When his female pal walked away, he struggled to keep his balance but managed to steady himself on the nearby car.

Just hours before attending the Halloween party, Ben took to Instagram to celebrate his journey to sobriety. "I have been in recovery for over a year and part of that is helping out others," the "Gone Girl" star wrote in the caption, before urging his four million followers to make donations to help homeless people.

"@themidnightmission is an incredible organization that helps those in need with housing, training, development and recovery," he explained. "I'm making a donation today because there are people battling addiction every day that don't have the resources and need help."

Ben Affleck was always open about his struggle with alcohol addiction in the past. He repeatedly entered rehab and recently checked into a facility in Malibu following an intervention from Jennifer.
