Admitting that he used to date the 'Foolish' songstress during his marriage to Deb Lorenzo, the record producer is worried about an upcoming Murder Inc. reunion tour because he no longer talks to Ashanti.

AceShowbiz - Irv Gotti's past affair with Ashanti has come back to give him new restless nights. In a clip for an upcoming episode of "Growing Up Hip Hop: New York", the record producer opens up about his concerns reuniting with old group members, specifically Ashanti, whom he hasn't talked with since they stopped dating.
The DJ had an extramarital affair with the R&B singer during the course of his marriage to Deb Lorenzo. But now that they have split and they're on good terms, Irv is freely talking about his issue with his ex-wife while enjoying a meal with their two children.
"It's crazy we're doing this Murder Inc. reunion tour. We're telling the whole story of Murder Inc. Ja will open and close the show. Fat Joe will be there, Fabolous, possibly Jadakiss, Lil Mo," Irv says of the possible reunion tour. "The tricky thing with the Murder Inc. reunion tour is I really don't f**k with some of them."
His daughter Angie tells him, "But you don't have to have them around you just to let bygones be bygones." But Irv says it's inevitable that he'll spend a lot of time with his former group members during the tour. "Yeah but for how long?" Angie asks him.
"For months," the 49-year-old record producer responds. "We're going to be on stage and to do this right, I gotta let bygones be bygones. I'm in such a good place. I got so much great s**t to think about moving forward, I don't want to think about the bad s**t of the past."
He continues, "The world knows I don't f**k with Ashanti. We haven't spoke in I don't know how long. With Ashanti, it's a delicate situation. She is a big part of Murder Inc. The fans want that, everybody wants that. Just how I have my version of what happened with me and Ashanti, she has her version."
Deb then chimes in, revealing that her impression of Ashanti wasn't a good one. "And I have my version. We were still married but we were separated when they were dating," she recalls. "I was used to it from the beginning, him going and traveling. I just wasn't used to the women. That was like new. Like, where did these h**s come from."
"You kicked me out," Irv reveals his ex-wife's reaction when finding out his affair with Ashanti. His daughter also shares, "I was in middle school when all of this cheating and scandal was happening with my parents. I was young in the sense that I didn't know how to comfort my mom. I just knew that my mom was hurting."
