Evelin Villegas denies Aladin Jallali's claim that Laura's relationship with her rumored new boyfriend Raul Cabrera was the reason why he's not open to reconciling with Laura.

AceShowbiz - Laura Jallali's best friend Evelin Villegas has spoken up about the end of Laura's marriage to Aladin Jallali. Evelin, who also met her husband Justin on "90 Day Fiance: The Other Way", defends her friend and slams Laura's ex for allegedly lying about the reason why he refused to reconcile with his estranged wife.
"What Aladin is saying is a lie," Evelin tells In Touch in response to Aladin's claim that Laura is already in a relationship with Raul Cabrera before he made up his mind about ending their marriage. "Laura met Raul a month ago and we are all good friends. Aladin decided to break up the marriage with Laura back in July when we filmed the tell-all."
"Aladin can come up with a better excuse, but he should just come up clean and say the real reasons why he broke up with her," Evelin adds. "I'm still not clear about his reasons but that's their problem not mine."
Clarifying Laura's relationship with Raul, Evelin stresses that the two "are just friends."
Laura confirmed her split from Aladin in an Instagram post shared on Monday, October 21. "Let's be honest, OK, I lost my marriage due to this show," she said in a video. "However what I have lost in a husband I have gained so many amazing, wonderful friends and I was able to work with a really fantastic cast. So, I lost something, but I have gained a lot."
When fans responded to her shocking announcement, Laura shared more details. "Hun when the $ ran out due to the show ... so did my husband," the 51-year-old alleged. "I told him I can no longer bring him to Canada so he was out! He has lots of women now willing to sponsor him so good luck and god bless."
Raul, meanwhile, recently addressed his relationship with Laura, whom he met through Evelin. "She recently moved to Ecuador and Evelin introduced me to her," Raul told In Touch, admitting that it's been "so awesome" hanging out with Laura.
Gushing about the former TLC star, the documentarian added, "All I can say is that we have a lot a lot of fun together and she has such a positive out look on life. I am completely in love with her dog and so enjoy Laura's company."
He got coy when asked if he and Laura are really in love with each other, replying, "There is an famous adage in Ecuador ... if you wanna keep something special don't share it with the world." He added, "Let's see what happens at the moment you saw her IG and Stories."
