The Prodigy frontman, whose iconic nose ring and gold discs are among the prized possessions to be sold, left behind more than $8.6 million in debts and unpaid taxes at the time of his death in March.

AceShowbiz - Keith Flint's belongings are to be auctioned to help settle debts he left behind when he died in March.

The 49-year-old The Prodigy frontman, who was found dead at his home in Essex after hanging himself, owed more than $8.6 million (£7 million) in debts and unpaid taxes at the time of his death, and more than 170 of his prized possessions will be sold off to help settle the debts.

Martin Millard, director at Cheffins Fine Art in Cambridge, England, said in a press release: "The sale is full of interesting items which give an insight into Keith's personal life and highlight the difference between his stage persona and his private life."

"Valuing items with such provenance is almost impossible, and therefore we will not be publishing any pre-sale estimates, but expect there to be lots to cater to most budgets."

Among the items on sale are the rocker's MTV Video Music Awards, gold discs, his iconic nose ring, and a specially commissioned bed.

Flint was also a motorcycle racer, who part-owned his own bike team, and his old leathers will also be up for grabs.

The auction will take place on November 7.
