Launched in April, the channel showcasing the former Spice Girls member's luxury life reportedly earns her just $31 each day despite it being very time-consuming.

AceShowbiz - Victoria Adams has apparently axed her YouTube channel after the venture failed to take off - making just $31 (£25) per day.

The star launched the channel in April, showcasing her luxury life including candid footage of her famous family and the inner workings of her fashion label.

However, it suffered a slow start, and the former Spice Girls singer has apparently walked away from the project after incurring five-figure losses due to production costs, with the channel earning the star just $31 each day.

While her page boasted 109,000 subscribers, an insider told Britain's Daily Mail newspaper it just wasn't feasible for Posh to carry on working on the clips, and is instead turning her focus to her other businesses - which they also claimed have suffered a "horrendous" year financially.

"The YouTube channel has been impossible to monetise, and it was very time-consuming so the decision was that it would be pulled," they explained.

Opening up when she first announced her foray into YouTube, Victoria explained to Harper's Bazaar: "I thought that this would be a great platform for me to show what I do, who I am and to introduce my team."

"It is going to be informative, there will be beauty content, but then there's also going to be humour. This is content that I am going to own - and it can be whatever I want it to be."
