AceShowbiz - In late last month, Eva Marchille gave birth to her second child with husband Michael Sterling, and the couple has treated their fans to the first photo of the baby boy, whose name is Maverick. Along with the adorable photo that was posted on Wednesday, October 2, Michael also shared the meaning behind the name.
The picture saw baby Maverick sleeping in a cute knitted onesie. Michael wrote in the caption, "First of his name. The unburped. Breaker of waters. ###Maverick an independent minded person who does not believe they have to just go along with the group or consensus. Willing to think for themselves," before adding the his middle name was taken from his grandfather's name Leonard.
Describing him as "the older rice farmer and Pastor," Michael went on gushing over his grandfather, "He was a good samaritan who never hesitated to lend a hand to those who were often forgotten and left behind."
Eva gave birth to Maverick on September 27, revealing to Us Weekly that the baby boy "came a few weeks early." She said, "I started getting contractions three days before he decided to actually arrive, so we checked into the hospital just to be prepared. All I ever ask for is a healthy baby and God answered my prayers, so everything went smooth."
Maverick joins his big brother Michael Jr., as Eva also has a 5-year-old daughter, Marley, whom she shares with rapper Kevin McCall. Talking to the publication, "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" star revealed that both Michael Jr. and Marley are "obsessed" with their new brother. "They can't get enough of him. Marley is the best big sister and she loves being the eldest," she said. "She's helping me with both of her brothers, keeping Mikey busy when I have to feed Maverick and is just the sweetest girl I could ask for."
