The star-studded movie adapted from Agatha Christie's book will bring back a character from 2017's film 'Murder on the Orient Express' and hit theaters in 2020.

AceShowbiz - Director Kenneth Branagh has added Russell Brand, "Game of Thrones" star Rose Leslie and "Black Panther" 's Letitia Wright to the star-studded line-up for his upcoming Agatha Christie whodunnit "Death on the Nile".

The adaptation will also feature Branagh and Tom Bateman reprising their roles as detective Hercule Poirot and Bouc from 2017's "Murder on the Orient Express".

"Absolutely Fabulous" co-stars Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders and actress Sophie Okonedo will also appear in the murder mystery, alongside previously announced cast members Gal Gadot, Armie Hammer and Annette Bening.

Production, which will take place in London and Egypt, began on Tuesday, October 1.

"Agatha Christie has written a riveting story of emotional chaos and violent criminality and Michael Green has once again written a screenplay to match… There are significant new twists, an awe-inspiring desert landscape, and a chance to celebrate big screen entertainment in glorious 65 millimeter celluloid!"

"Death on the Nile" will debut on October 9, 2020.
