AceShowbiz - "Dancing with the Stars" season 28 aired its new episode on Monday, September 30. This week was "Movie Night" so the stars would hit the stage to dance routines inspired by their favorite films. The first performers that night were Lauren Alaina and Gleb Savchenko, who opted to dance a Tango to "Oh, Pretty Woman" from romance classic "Pretty Woman".

Of the performance, judge Len Goodman said, "A little bit disappointed (the crowd boos) that you took off the hat. This was full-on attack, drive, and purpose. The Tango was excellent, you could have lowered your left arm a little. Terrific attitude and getting out there." Meanwhile, Bruno Tonioli dubbed it "a racy Tango" with Carrie Ann Inaba telling the pair that she loved "the confidence" though she needed to "work on the musicality." The judges gave Lauren a 20 out of 30.

Next up were Hannah Brown and Alan Bersten. They danced a Rumba to "Hold On" by Wilson Phillips from the hit comedy "Bridesmaids". Bruno commented on the routine, "No need for a wedding planner, this could be the one to me. You are a wonderful dancer, but this is a Rumba, you have to put your feet on the floor more." Len, meanwhile, praised Hannah for her "beautiful musicality" and called her a "lovely dancer." Hannah earned a 21.

Karamo Brown and Jenna Johnson followed it up with a Jive to Elton John's "I'm Still Standing" from "Rocketman". Carrie Ann noted that "there were a lot of mistakes" but she liked "that you came out here and entertained us and gave us joy." Len added, "What I liked is that you didn't mess about, you came right out and danced the Jive." The judges gave Karamo 16 points.

Meanwhile, Ally Brooke and Sasha Farber took the stage to dance a Rumba to "Selena" as a tribute to her favorite movie which served as an inspiration to her as a Mexican-American performer. Len loved it, saying, "You were in a skimpy outfit and you did fantastically, I really enjoyed the performance. And then, the end finished me off." Also gushing over the performance was Carrie Ann, commenting, "You are truly such an emotional dancer, I had chills the whole time. I am so happy this season is about technique, that is exactly what we're are looking for. It had passion, it was like your alter ego." She got 24 points.

Ray Lewis announced his exit from the show due to injury. The NFL player tore a tendon years ago and said that the pain had been bothering him during practice for "DWTS". When the doctor told him that he needed a surgery after he tore 3 tendons in his toes, he decided to withdraw from the competition. Season 24 champion Rashad Jennings took over his place to dance a Cha Cha to "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" with Cheryl Burke that night.

As for James Van Der Beek, he performed a Rumba to "Shallow" from Lady GaGa and Bradley Cooper's "A Star is Born". Bruno raved, "I can confidently say there was nothing shallow about that performance. It is harder for a man to do the Rumba that a lady, and you made your partner look fantastic." Carrie Ann added, "So much poetry, beautiful choreography, you let go of every once of emotion. This was stunning." The judges gave him a 23.

Kate Flannery and Pasha Pashkov took on "9 to 5" by performing a Quickstep to Dolly Parton's "9 to 5". Carrie Ann said that the routine was "so precise," "so good," adding, "you are working hard and it is paying off." Bruno added, "Like the movie, this is a big hit." Kate get a 24.

Lamar Odom and his partner Peta Murgatroyd danced a Cha Cha to "Old Time Rock 'n Roll" from "Risky Business". "What I like is to see you dance because you are so much fun and I was optimistic, you had to do a couple of basic steps and the wheels fell off a bit," said Len of the former athlete's performance. As for Bruno, he said, "You started quite well but you couldn't manage it to the end. I admire you for trying, good job." Lamar was given a 12.

Next up was Sailor Brinkley-Cook, who danced a Tango to "Here We Go Again" from "Mama Mia" alongside Val Chmerkovskiy. "I can really see that you listen to us, you work very hard and it showed. A great feel great Tango," said Bruno. Len also sang Sailor a praise by saying, "It was full of snap, crackle, and pop. Lots of clever moments, this was a fantastic routine, well done." The daughter of Christie Brinkley was given 23 points.

Dancing a Rumba to Celine Dion's "My Heart Will Go On" from "Titanic" were Kel Mitchell and Witney Carson. Carrie Ann dubbed it a "really solid dancing," though Len said that "it needed more shaping in your hand, you get that through your thumb." Bruno added, "You are a solid performer, just soften a little bit. You have talent enough to work on it and come back." The judges gave Kel a 20.

The last performers that night were Sean Spicer and Lindsay Arnold. The pair opted to perform a Cha Cha to The Bee Gees' "Night Fever" from "Saturday Night Fever". "It was more like Monday night lukewarm. You walk along your feet are great, you start to do stuff and you are pigeoned toed. Although you mastered the rolly polly," Len said of the performance. Meanwhile, Carrie Ann asked the former White House secretary to "loosen up a bit." Sean got a 15.

Now it was time for the results. Lamar and Ket Mitchell were the stars in the bottom two. However, it was later revealed that no one went home because of Ray's withdrawal.
