Jessica Simpson Sticks to Cauliflower Diet for Dramatic Post-Baby Weight Loss

Despite losing 100 pounds in six months after giving birth to her third child, the 'Irresistible' singer admits she has given up on plans to get her pre-baby hips back.

AceShowbiz - Jessica Simpson dropped 100 pounds (45 kilograms) of baby weight by sticking to a cauliflower-rich diet.

The singer and fashion mogul shared her dramatic weight loss with fans online on Tuesday, September 24, and now she's revealing the secrets behind her body transformation.

"It's been a lot of hard work. I have to say that I have worked very hard," she told HSN on Thursday night. "Everything that I've been eating is mostly made with cauliflower."

She stuck to strict eating habits for six months, but now Jessica is enjoying the occasional less-healthy snack.

"I just ate a bag of Cheetos (potato chips) in the back," she quipped.

The "Irresistible" singer, who welcomed her third child with husband Eric Johnson (II) in March, also admitted her latest pregnancy really tipped her over on the scale, because she couldn't stop eating.

"When you're pregnant, I gain a lot, I mean, a lot," the 39-year-old emphasised. "I didn't expect to gain as much with my third. I thought I'd learned my lesson, but apparently that's just the way God made me - very hungry and pregnant."

Jessica is enjoying her body again, admitting she's given up on plans to get back to her pre-mum look.

"I don't think I'll ever get back to (my skinny jeans)," she said. "I save them and say, 'One day', but I think after having kids, I don't think that your hips really ever go completely back. All worth it! Your body changes."
